Coordinates the activities of charge nurses to ensure proper care of residents. In conjunction with medical staff, adjusts the care plan to meet emergency medical needs. Summary Under the general supervision of the Clinic Administrator or Physician, and according to established procedures, provides care to patients and families. Responsible and accountable for the care provided regardless of whether it is provided solely by said nurse or if by the nurse and others under his/her supervision. Implements and coordinates the steps of the nursing process, involves the patient in decision making relative to care and is responsible for making nursing care judgements and acting upon them. Minimum Qualifications Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
