Summary The Director of Nursing will direct, coordinate and evaluate the Center's patient care services and will be responsible for the operational management of hospital inpatient areas and/or ambulatory clinics and related programs. Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and their clinical condition. 6. Follow the five 5 medication rights and reduce the potential for medication errors. 7. Be able to start catheter and IV access as needed for radiologic procedures. 8. Access chest ports 9. Demonstrates an ability to assist Radiologist with procedures and performs services requiring technical and manual skills. 10. Demonstrates ability to perform treatments and provide services with in scope of practice. 11. Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity. Identifies and addresses psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs of patients and their families. 12. Interacts professionally with patient/family and involves patient/family in the events that are going to be involved in the imaging or biopsy of the patient.
