Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Complex Care Services Department Summary Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to function in the inpatient Complex Care Service (CCS) at Boston Children’s Hospital. CCS is a long-standing and nationally-regarded inpatient service within the Division of General Pediatrics that serves hospitalized children with medical complexity, who have complex chronic conditions and functional limitations. Common reasons for admission to CCS include infections (aspiration pneumonia, pyelonephritis), chronic condition exacerbations (epilepsy, digestive dysmotility), and post-operative recovery following surgery (baclofen pump placement, gastrostomy, spinal fusion, etc.).
