Overview Our Trauma Surgical Unit is primarily home to our acute care trauma and surgical patient population. Nurses in this area have a 1:6 ratio and specialize in an interdisciplinary team approach to each patient's specific needs. This unit's staff are experts in trauma but also ortho and urology patients as this unit will provide care to this population as well. Manages the practice of professional nursing and patient care delivery within Ambulatory Operations. Provides clinical supervision and is responsible for daily operations of ambulatory clinic(s). Licensure: License to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia required. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. Valid Virginia Driver’s license required for managers with responsibility operations in multiple locations. Must have applicable specialty certification at hire or within 3 years. PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. The starting base rate for this role is $104,062.40 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
