JOB DESCRIPTION Summary of Performance Expectations: Provides professional nursing care and makes nursing care decisions that are appropriate for the age and condition of the patient, using the nursing process. Collaborates with other health care professionals to meet the needs of the patient. Responsible for adhering to CVMC/ departmental policies, procedures, and philosophy to deliver quality patient care, practicing within the guidelines of the North Carolina State Nurse Practice Act and abiding by the CVMC Nursing Bylaws. Required Education & Credentials: Graduate of accredited nursing program. Current NC RN license or licensure from Nursing Compact State. BCLS certification. If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within three months of employment date. Bachelor Of Science In Nursing Degree Requirements Newly employed IRT Registered Nurses and current employees promoted to IRT Registered Nurse positions are required to possess a BSN or higher nursing degree. The BSN or higher nursing degree must be completed within five years from the date of employment or placement into the IRT RN position. Effective August 28, 2017, incumbents in CVMC IRT RN positions on the effective date will be required to satisfy the BSN degree requirement to maintain their current position. Additional Requirements By Practice Area The IRT Registered Nurse will float to the assigned units and take an independent assignment. Competency requirements will include all annual education and certifications required by each assigned individual unit to maintain competencies. Refer to the Registered Nurse Performance Expectations for each department’s additional requirements by Practice Area. Preferred BSN (BSN enrollment and completion requirements apply). Specialty course work and certification in multiple areas of practice Required Work Experience: One year nursing experience. Incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job and able to assume call responsibilities as required within three months of employment date. CCU experience Preferred One year experience working in Critical Care. Six months experience in cardiac monitoring. One year experience in either Birthing Center or Level III Nursery. Job Overview Fairview is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Neuro Surgical ICU Department at our M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank location in Minneapolis, MN. Schedule : This position will be working 0.6 FTE (48 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 12 hours on the Night shift. This position will also work every 3rd weekend. Please follow the link here to learn more information: https://www.fairview.org/benefits/noncontractrn About our Neuro Surgical ICU Department at UMMC East Bank : The Surgical/Neuro ICU at the University of Minnesota Medical Center is a 16 bed unit that has adult surgical patients who require continuous monitoring including neurosurgery, transplant, and general surgery. We provide care to critically ill adult patients that have had surgery or trauma which require close observation and monitoring and interventions. We are looking for someone who will perform advanced monitoring using current technology, manage complex medication and infusion therapies, care for patient undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions on the unit, and they will demonstrate the ability to safely and accurately operate unit equipment. Job Summary: The Integrated Care Clinical Manager - Massachusetts is a community based registered nurse responsible for providing monitoring, follow-up and clinical care management to dually-eligible enrollees with complex medical, behavioral and social care needs. This position focuses on integrating health services and community resources to coordinate enrollee care for improve health outcomes and enhanced quality of life. Essential Functions: Engage with the enrollee in their homes and other community settings to establish an effective, complex care management relationship, while considering the cultural and linguistic needs of each member. Function as a liaison between healthcare providers, community resources, and enrollees to ensure seamless communication and care transitions. Perform required assessments on a timely basis, including but not limited to Comprehensive Assessment, MDS-HC (or successor) Functional Assessments, and Crisis and Risk Assessments Engage enrollees in care plan development and implementation, providing routine updates as the enrollee’s status changes Lead the interdisciplinary care team (ICT) and collaborate with peers both internal and external to the organization, to create holistic care plans that address medical and non-medical needs. Job Description Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgical Oncology Physician Practice Position Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of the multidisciplinary surgical oncology team, providing comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout the continuum of surgical cancer treatment.
