This Mother Baby Care Training Program is a mentored program for new graduates and experienced nurses without previous postpartum and newborn nursing background. This program is designed to support the learner throughout the transition process from novice to advanced beginner and consists of a blended learning approach which incorporates the following integral components: didactic instruction, preceptor based clinical practicum, AWHONN Perinatal Orientation Education Program online modules, and case-based simulation training.
