We care for newborn infants to young adult patients with diagnoses that range from medical/surgical patients and orthopedic surgeries including scoliosis, fractures and congenital repairs to cranial surgeries, diabetics, transfers from Nursery ICU (for home transition teaching) and the Mother/Baby Unit. All nursing staff is PALS certified and take an EKG class. Parents are allowed to be in the room 24/7.
