Position Overview Position responsible for performing advanced indirect and selected direct patient care duties in support of the nursing process in a competent manner under the direction of an RN and for performing related clerical functions, must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development as it relates to the different life cycles. Job Description Summary: A Senior Infusion Nurse is a licensed registered nurse, considered to be an expert with infusion nursing care, who develops, coordinates, and provides direct patient care to patients in the home, or in an alternate infusion suite, to ensure patient safety with continuity and compliance under a physician’s plan of care.
