Description: The Director of Advanced Practice Providers provides leadership, clinical management & administrative oversight in the development of strategic planning and operations for all advanced practice providers in the service line. The Director is accountable for mentoring direct reports to assure achievement of the organizations vision and goals. Oversees quality evidence-based outcomes and advanced practice models. Responsible for the development, implementation and revision of policies, procedures and protocols, in collaboration with the administration and physician leadership to ensure compliance and attainment of the organizations goals. Monitors and conforms to the professional standards, accreditation and regulatory requirements impacting the organization. Clinical and/or surgical coverage (if Hospital credentialed) may be required as per specialty specific needs. Clinical Care * The Physician Assistant (PA) or the Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patient/family needs throughout the disease process as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team.
