This position is primarily based at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus and includes scheduled rotations at Hillcrest Hospital and Fairview Hospital. In addition to core MICU and CICU responsibilities, the provider will also support the Main Campus Sepsis Early Response Team. The APP will provide comprehensive care to adults with critical, life-threatening illness in an intensive care setting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, patient evaluation and management, as well as urgent procedures such as airway and ventilator management, central and arterial line placement, difficult peripheral IV access, and chest tube insertion. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts and includes rotating nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior experience is preferred. A generous sign-on bonus is available for external candidates with at least three years of APRN or PA experience. APRN: Nationally certified licensed healthcare provider who provides primary and/or specialty nursing and/or medical care in a variety of healthcare settings. Functions in collaboration with a physician according to a standard care arrangement and specialty certification. PA: Nationally certified licensed healthcare provider who provides primary and or specialty medical care (the practice of medicine) in a variety of healthcare settings.
