Summary Under the direction of the Patient Care Unit Director, the Nurse Manager has 24 X 7 responsibility for operational leadership and management of the patient care unit. Documents these communications. • Follows established standards for point of service technology, documentation and synchronization. • Submits weekly visit schedule of assigned patients. Collaborates with Clinical Team Manager to address scheduling needs. • Performs re-certifications, resumption of care, transfers and discharges as requested by the assigned Clinical Team Manager. Job Summary: The Ambulatory Float Nurse Manager assumes primary leadership and management of defined clinical nursing areas to facilitate and deliver comprehensive quality nursing care and to manage the environment in which care is given. The Telemetry Unit is designed for patients who require continuous cardiac monitoring, or frequent assessments and interventions, which cannot be provided on the general Medical/Surgical Units, yet who are more stable than those requiring Intensive Care Services.
