Education/Certification: Graduate of an accredited RN program. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. Completion of the Basic Dysrhythmia class. Experience: Past Preop/PACU, cath lab, ICU, ER, or IR experience is encouraged. Demonstrates the ability to function Knowledge of twelve lead EKG interpretation, interpretation of end tidal CO2 waveforms with clinical correlation, cardiac medications, emergency management of cardiac patients, ability to establish IV access in difficult patients, vascular access site management, and current clinical practice guidelines in cardiology. Experience administering conscious sedation is preferred.
