Review medication record for completeness of information, accuracy in the transcription of the physician’s order, and adherence to stop order policies. Overview Our Cardiac Medical Unit is 42-bed unit, concentrating on Cardiac Telemetry. Nurses in this area have a 1:6 ratio and provide unparalled care to predominately cardiac patients requiring treatment for chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, or other various cardiac arrhythmias.
