JOB SUMMARY: The Graduate Nurse Residency Program is a full-time RN position that creates a seamless educational transition into the nursing world. UPMC’s Health Plan is hiring an Occupational Health Nurse for its Employee Health Assistance Team. This role works Monday through Friday daylight hours (7 am - 3:30 pm) onsite at the Employee Health Clinic at UPMC Williamsport. Free parking is provided for this position. This position has primary responsibilities for the direct patient intervention and provision of care for the staff members of the UPMC Health System. This person will be responsible for the provision of all clinical services for the Employee Health program. Responsibilities: Assist in the coordination of medical surveillance programs. Job Description This Resource Float Pool RN will support our ICU service lines. Candidates should have experience caring for critically ill patients and be comfortable floating between multiple ICU environments. POSITION DESCRIPTION Responsible for timely and accurate completion of both the RAI process and care management process from admission to discharge in accordance with company policy and procedures, and Federal, State and Certification guidelines, and all other entities as appropriate- Minimum Data Set, discharge and admission tracking, etc. With direction from the Director of Nursing and VP of Clinical Reimbursement, may coordinate information systems operations and education for the clinical department. QUALIFICATIONS • Graduate of an approved RN program and licensed in the state of practice, required. • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred. • Excellent knowledge of Case-Mix, the Federal Medicare PPS process, and Medicaid reimbursement, as required. • Thorough understanding of the Quality Indicator process.
