Education and research comprise another important function of UNC Health Campus Care at Carolina. We provide clinical rotations and practicums for students in the School of Education, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Social Work and Public Health, Department of Medical Technology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Health and Radiology. In addition, the clinic serves as a research site for a number of faculty and graduate student grants and contracts, where staff participates with the principal investigators across a variety of medical specialties. The per diem Physician Practice Nurse provides patient care within the scope of practice for the licensed Registered Nurse.
