Supervises the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements, to ensure that the residents receive the highest quality of care at all times. Together with the Nursing Director, the RN Registered Nurse Supervisor plans the operation of nursing services and the provision of emergency support requirements for tour of duty. Plans the coordination of nursing activities in line with medical needs, physician instructions and the general nursing care plan. Coordinates the activities of charge nurses to ensure proper care of residents. In conjunction with medical staff, adjusts the care plan to meet emergency medical needs. Qualifications: The RN Registered Nurse Supervisor must hold a current state RN license and be a Registered Nurse in good standing. Must have previous experience in a supervisory capacity.
