The Registered Nurse also may assume Charge Nurse Responsibilities as required. Qualifications Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; BSN preferred. Experience: One (1) year prior psychiatric experience in mental health nursing preferred. Licensure: Licensure and registration by the Mississippi Board of Nursing as a registered nurse, or multi-state license as approved by NCSBN. Knowledge: Must possess knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships and processes, age specific growth ad development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management and CPR training.
