Location: WISH: 2nd FLRBLK 100 Day Shift PRIMARY PURPOSE The RN is a licensed professional who uses the Parkland nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery, that focuses on a particular patient population(s)/specific health conditions, by the health care team. LVN experience does not waive this requirement. Assesses patient performance status for changes to included pain management, collaborating with providers for appropriate interventions (medical providers, nutritionist, rehabilitation, ACS, pharmacy, social work, chaplain, palliative medicine, speech pathologist, etc.). Collaborates with wound care, stoma and ENT nurses for performing wound, colostomy and tracheotomy care as directed.
