Job Description This is a 8 hour Monday-Friday 7:00-15:30 position. These jobs are mainly at the Parnassus and UCIC campuses for a diagnostic radiology nurse (MRI and CT ) but will also float. Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team. The Radiology Cardiac Stress Test RN, MRI Pacemaker RN, and CT Coronary RN are integral members of the UCSF Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging care team. They independently perform nursing assessments and provide patient-centered care within their scope of practice while collaborating with APPs, physicians, technologists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
