We are offering a Seasonal Opportunity with significantly increased hourly rate and generous completion bonus PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS : · All Seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period (0.9 FTEs) during the seasonal period. · Two (2) weekend shifts are required for each 4-week period if applicable. · During the 16-week period, the employee is required to work one holiday shift as defined by Department Manager or designee. · Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There is no guarantee of hours by the hospital. The Registered Nurse coordinates the care of the patient with the surgeon and anesthesiologist, directs and guides the OR Technician and other personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Works with other departments to provide a continuum of care and co-workers to provide continuous, quality patient care, efficient patient flow and unit maintenance and organization. Responsible for adherence to regulations, standards and hospital or unit policies and procedures. Responsible for participation in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings and in-services. Acts as a resource for other personnel as appropriate. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Current and valid state RN License. 2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3. Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on the job training 4. Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred 5. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Facility Specific Requirements (as applicable, required): 6. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 7. Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 8.
